1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website operators. This policy explains how Kindesk ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on kindesk.app.
2. Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They cannot be disabled. Without them you would not be able to log in or use the platform.

| better-auth.csrf_token | CSRF protection for form submissions | Session | HTTP-only, Secure |
2.2 Analytics Cookies
We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. PostHog is self-hosted within the EU (eu.i.posthog.com). Analytics only track identified (logged-in) users and are not used for advertising.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|

2.3 Third-Party Cookies
We do not use any third-party advertising, tracking, or social media cookies. Kindesk does not participate in any ad networks or cross-site tracking.
3. Cookies We Do NOT Use
For clarity, Kindesk does not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site tracking technologies
- Fingerprinting or similar identification techniques
4. Legal Basis
- Strictly necessary cookies: exempt from consent under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as they are essential for the service you requested.
- Analytics cookies: processed under our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding service usage and improving the platform. We balance this against user privacy by using EU-hosted analytics, only tracking identified users, and not sharing data with third parties.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from using the Service. For instructions on managing cookies in your browser, visit aboutcookies.org.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change our cookie practices. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
